Chocks Away
Well, I’m about to leave Blighty so this is it. What I ain’t got, I ain’t got, but I’m sure we can work things out. The last few weeks have been quite manic, getting things arranged, ordering last minute items, chasing around to get replacements for the numerous items that didn’t work. I did manage a test trip to the Lake District, fully loaded, which went quite well and fortunately the weather was glorious (see pic).

Alas the weather forecast for the next few days is a bit grim. I leave tomorrow morning to Belgium, and on Monday from there down to Johns – so my waterproofs will be well tested. A few days to tinker and test and ensure we don’t carry too many duplicate items, and we’ll be ready for the off. (as ready as we’ll ever be)
In many ways the recent rush has been good, as I haven’t had time to think about being away…and I still have plenty to get on with today – next update soon.
